Made in Mexico. Raised in Houston.
Growing up as the oldest in a Latina home, I always felt a strong sense of responsibility toward my family. While this brought me great pride, it also came with its fair share of challenges, including navigating complex family dynamics and dealing with the weight of big sister guilt. However, these struggles taught me the importance of finding balance, pursuing my passions, and seeking new experiences.

One of my greatest passions is exploring the hidden gems of my hometown, Houston, and other parts of Texas. Whether it's discovering cozy coffee houses or stumbling upon a hole-in-the-wall restaurant that serves up the best tacos I've ever had, I love nothing more than sharing my adventures with others. Through my podcast, Candy Coated, I hope to showcase my life experiences, travel, hidden gems, and road trips, and share new places with my listeners. From small towns in the Lone Star State to bustling cities in my travels, there's always something new to discover and explore, and I can't wait to share my travels with you.
